It can't be all work and no play so once a month a social event is arranged. These are available for all members. These have included quiz nights, skittle competitions, outings to local businesses and causes, days out, socials with other Lions clubs. Social events are funded by members' subscriptions only.


As well as the competitions mentioned above, we also have a monthly social, in the past these have been: open topped bus trip over the Mendips, Boules night in a local pub, Bowling at Yatton Bowling Club, visits to breweries and Cameron Balloons and a visit to a local Chocolate cookery school.
