Annual Charity Golf Day Thursday May 1st - Tall Pines Golf Club

Updated: Apr 7

Last year's Yeo Valley Lions Charity Golf Day – Raised £5,400 for the Alzheimer’s Society

On Thursday 2nd May in trying conditions we held our Twelfth Charity Golf Day at Tall Pines golf course. The weather prevented some of the 36 teams completing the full 18 holes.

That said what a great day we had, and we ended up with a great atmosphere in the club house, with some great scores given the disruption and conditions.

This year we will be supporting:

Bristol Children’s Help Society (BCHS) Barton Camp - based in the foothills of the Mendips behind Winscombe, it offers residential and outdoor learning experiences for children whose personal circumstances have significantly depleted their life opportunities. This could be the result of a wide variety of situations including disability, poverty, parental drug or alcohol misuse, their own status (including being in care or a carer), entering the UK as a refugee, bereavement or mental health issues.  Their aim is to promote aspiration, self-determination and resilience through a range of outdoor, team building activities in a rural residential setting.

The date for this years diary is Thursday 1st May 2025 for our 13th annual charity golf day at Tall Pines Golf course. There are still a few places left, so hurry to book your tee time now, see link to entry form below: or for further info visit our golf page here
